  1. I think you mean BDR? (Battle damage repair)
  2. Bob, The seat bit is from a Fox turret seat. Chris
  3. Looks like that photo is from the 90s, no Saxons in the 60s/70s.
  4. Looks like it! http://whois.domaintools.com/hetzerman.com
  5. Don't just turn up, make an appointment. They have a lot more stock than what is shown on the website.
  6. That's actually the first time they have put a scimitar on the auctions. It will be interesting to see if it meets the reserve as I know what they have been selling these for.
  7. I think running and driving it's worth £14k all day long. It would cost you a lot more than that in bits of you wanted to build one... Assuming you could find a diesel gearbox, which you can't!
  8. That's a Spartan, not a Scorpion.

  10. It's been there for a while, very rusty!
  11. Hi Robin, Looks like fun - and remember it's not a proper event unless something has mechanical issues! I hope Al gets the M8 sorted. Chris
  12. You could try speaking to Fernando Martins: http://www.milweb.net/dealers/trader/fernando_martins/
  13. Does your gearbox filter look like this? http://www.thexmod.com/item_detail.asp?id=364&t=Filter_Fluid_Gear_Box_Filter_FV970476
  14. Diana, It was done as an upgrade, so I am sure there is a good reason for it. The later type filters are easier to get as they are standard parts. Be aware that the diesel filter unit looks the same, but has a different part number. Chris
  15. There are different gearbox filters. Is yours the same as the engine oil filer, or different?
  16. It's all here: http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?22271-reme-conqueror
  17. Perhaps a photo of your jeep might help?
  18. There is a thread on here about putting that J60 in there to power the winch.
  19. Just for info those photos are of a ferret which was parked next to mine when I bought it, mine was missing the mounting plates but they turned up over the years.
  20. I have both Bren and GPMG mounts which fit the plates.
  21. It depends how easily it comes apart! I did one before which was no trouble, the one I have to do at the moment is rock solid.
  22. I replaced mine with a Durite one, take it down to an automotive electrical supplier and they'll match it up.
