The have been really good about it. I actually put the order in back in the summer and they have had supply issues all that time, they have been working hard to get some and are still trying.
I have seen some of their work and that's why I went with them. Its high quality. In reality the truck wont need it until May/June next year so there is still time.
I had a message from RCH this week about my canvas on order from them, they cannot source Brown canvas and would rather I have my deposit back for now😞
We were in such a rush to move the vehicles round and then put the garage up that I got home that afternoon to realise I hadnt taken any photos!?!
I will pop down in the day and take some pics, we put our biggest car in the garage and it is dwarfed in there!
Finally, we have had a large move around in the yard and we have purchased a portable garage for storage. As a result the Commer is now inside the workshop and we can really get a move on with the restoration. Being sheeted outside has really not helped us.
Some useful spares still left on these vehicles.
Quite true about locations, sometimes it takes years for people to get on the right side of landowners and often on the premise that locations are kept secret.
Thats lovely to see so many people out observing the day.
Also nice to see the vehicles on display. We only went to our village service so only a small affair.
Yes, definately a Model C so it will be 1934 to late 1935, so only a short production run.
The model was upgraded in late 1935 and became the CX, biggest difference being a few horizontal bars added to the grill.
