  1. Watched it from start to finish, a really good watch.
  2. Your driveway is looking a bit full though🤣
  3. A big milestone and it does look very good!
  4. Very nice looking project bike.
  5. Wonder what the condition is, shame there aren't some photos.
  6. Isn't this the one that is 'rumoured' to have been used as a staff car?
  7. Seems a big step to scrap something of that rarity even in such a poor state?
  8. I agree, I think it looks really good and has kept its shape well. Unlike my experience with classic cars, body panels on our Military vehicles don't often end up pristine and in my opinion don't have to be. I see so many MV's at shows that are restored as they would have been used, I like that.
  9. The wings on my Commer look very similar to this, lots of older repair sections that needed to be cut out. I have though on inspection left a few in place and like you say, where its a bit messy a nice layer of filler will sort it!!
  10. That is a great find in that condition!
  11. I watched 'The Forgotten Battle' on netflix earlier this week! It was a good film with plenty of period vehicles used and the storyline is very moving.
  12. We are sat watching the 1955 Colditz Story, the Germans have just pulled up in 3 Austin GS trucks.
  13. That is a really rare find, looks quite complete too?
  14. It is a suberb and rare piece, the work you have done on it is top notch.
  15. Oh Yes😉 I did also notice in the first scenes at the docks the lorries being loaded in the distance were a bonneted Leyland Comet from the 50's and what looks like a flat fronted mid 50s Leyland tractor unit...
  16. Just watching the original Dunkirk film, one of the first scenes in France shows a couple of trucks being attacked and set ablaze. One is a small Fordson but the other is a Bedford QL, obviously not actually introduced at that time.
  17. Prompted by a conversation recently with a friend the subject of the Karrier K6 and KT4 was discussed. Now I know of and have seen first hand examples of the K6 but we questioned whether any KT4 tractors had actually survived?
