Hello from Andover

Hello

 

I'm Colin and a new member on here, i have a 1943 Austin K2 GS lorry :)

I will post some pics when i can work out how too!!:confused:

My interests started in WW2 re-enactment which i still do, and progressed to military vehicles.

just come back from Hill 112 in France and Normandy in June in which "Lucy" preformed faultlessly:yay:

Looking forward to exploring the site and meting new people on here.

Hi Colin, welcome to the site....... the only time that I ever spent in Andover was during the spring of 1956, thats when I was doing my driver training (Did not do any training really, I already had my civilian truck driving licence when I was called up for N/S, my family operated trucks. ) but I did have to take my test there...... Barton Stacey camp, R.E.M.E. long gone now, we went into Andover for the day, all a long time ago!!!! I have fond memories of the Austin K2. it just lacked the stopping power of the Bedfords with there Clayton Dewandre braking system......... happy days.:banana:
