Colin Murray Capt 4th Dorsetshire living history group & motor mechanic in real life Hi Colin, welcome to the site....... the only time that I ever spent in Andover was during the spring of 1956, thats when I was doing my driver training (Did not do any training really, I already had my civilian truck driving licence when I was called up for N/S, my family operated trucks. ) but I did have to take my test there...... Barton Stacey camp, R.E.M.E. long gone now, we went into Andover for the day, all a long time ago!!!! I have fond memories of the Austin K2. it just lacked the stopping power of the Bedfords with there Clayton Dewandre braking system......... happy days.
