Willyslancs
Whilst browsing pictures of my old place of work(TVR)online, i came across these pics with unimogs in . Any information about them?
Gareth Coe
Wow! They look like 404s; the one in the colour picture is a Doka (double cab) version, which is fairly unusual. What were they used for?
Willyslancs
funny you said they are unusual, seen a few double cab ones round here over the years, dont know why they were there , i left a few years ago .................. schliesser92
The Mog with the double-cab was used for LAA gun crews , mainly with the Rheinmetall Rh202 20mm LAA guns.. After the Flak units were disbanded, the remaining vehicles were used for driver training duties.

The soft-top DoKa 404.114 (military version) was used as a gun tractor, then into driver training. There was a very limited number being made around the very early 1960's with 83 as has been suggested in an earlier post being a number I've heard from a few sources. There was supposed to be a 2nd later batch made which went into driver training. Oh it's also totally possible to get a mog stuck, you just need to try hard enough
