russell sprout Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Hi all, Can anyone point me in the right direction for a supplier of Morris C8 engine spares for an on going restoration project? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rus Quote

morris c8 fat Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Just when I was going to fit the new exhaust I noticed a leak in the radiator about half way down on the O/Side I think this was on another fourm but I cant find the link do I seal it or get it fixed bearing in mind I dont have a thermostat on my C8FAT Quote
Phil P Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Try Bob McCulloch at Classic Engines and Spares. He is based in Cheshire and does a superb mail order service. Just type in Classic Engines and Spares for his website and online order form. Nice bloke who knows his stuff. He supplied all the engine parts a couple of years ago for a pre war Morris Commercial truck. Phil. Quote
mikemids Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Adding to request for C8 spares, i'm also seeking a few odd bits if anyone out there has them? i need the nut which seals to the top of the brake and clutch fluid container. The metal 90* tube which the air filter sits into, think it bolts to floorpan? Details on how the spare wheel is fixed to the rear body. A headlight. cheers.... Quote
Rick W Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Headlight is a standar Butler light, they come up often enough on evilbay, or most other places. The top for the fluid container should be fairly straightforward as well. At the moment I cant remember the name of the place I got mine re-conn'ed but they will supply that, will look tomorrow. As for the bend, you may need to get one made up, Ive never seen them for sale. Quote
