Jerryjeeprichard
Unfortunately I forgot to take some before pictures. Few snaps during and after.. So two of us have spent the full weekend stripping the sawbench drive shaft. Cleaning/ blasting and painting, re assembly back on the saw. I just don’t know where the time goes.. I must admit there was little head scratching on how the bearings were fitted and whether or not we would get the drive pulley off without cracking. In the end no major issues. Great little system to work on.

Jerryjeeprichard
Looks like an interesting auction. The liner saw bench shown is the more common version with petter engine. One with the JAP engine seems to be the more elusive version. Ironically I managed to pick another one up this last week. I bought this literally for the engine cowl.
Jerryjeeprichard
Little more progress on the saw bench trailer. Front tow hitch assembled and fitted. Bed bolted on. Blades cleaned up and fitted. Castings for the saw guide stripped, these were stuck solid, I did try heating up with the gas axe, just couldn’t get the heat into it. So resorted to putting the castings into the log burner for a few hours. Worked an absolute treat.
