Tony B
Finally Jack has seen the light   Get one now mate, the price is going up. Finally getting the recognition they deserve. Jeeps were posing for pictures, Dodges were to busy working. They are very well mannered vehicles, a ladidies drive, but man enough for any job. Why would you want to sweat buckets to drive a MV? :dunno: Try driving one of these along a deserted Belgium road, on a summers night, no street lights, electrical storm in the background, just the sound of the engine and arrow straight road. If heaven 'ain't like that I'm not going.

Tony B
Well, from that side of the pond, maybe's................ Any side of any pond :box: They are a superb piece of engineering. The US learnt the lesson with the Liberty truck. When the did come to re arm they went to manufacturers said we want it to do this, and left them alone. The result is vehicles of all types designed by engineers to do a job, not accountants to fit a price. The British had amongst other things the War Office subsidy scheme, so they were bound to take up trucks from several manufacturers with no standardisation. Versatile, that's for sure! Not only during ww2 either. We used two of these when moving into our new home. Didn't have to make that many trips either. And of course the neighbours doesn't bother us... ;-) Marty
