No JGL 2279 X5841279 Hi Mark welcome to the forum & well done finding 2 more of these 'rare' British WW2 trailers, I see yours appear to have 7.50x16 Landrover wheels fitted ? rather than the 9.00x13 wheels. You may have a job finding the correct wheels but if you do there are companies in the UK that have the correct pattern tyres. I have 3 of these trailers. X6197846 Restored & used regularly. X5853823 Under restoration. X6167849 In storage but maybe be forsale soon ? One of yours appears to be out of the same stable as mine as the numbers are very close. nz2
Welcome aboard to a fellow Kiwi. Do you know anything of the army history to these trailers? Were they purchased new by NZ Army for use in NZ in training exercises, or are they ex Singapore when the British undertook withdrawal from the post. I understand quite a bit of gear came to NZ ex Singapore. Thanks Doug

Mark Arnott
Hi Doug, Apparently they were manufactured around 1943 and arrived in NZ around 1952. Cheers Mark
nz2
Its great to see that you have collected these trailers up. What are you towing them with? Aside from towing it behind the Landrover S1, ( when it gets restored) that design of trailer is too young for our vehicles. Needs aging 25 years.
