I Was thinking of selling them but have lost the deactivated Certs, would this be a problem to sell them also would like to know what sort of price they are selling for, both are English 1 a rifle with bayonet 1 a pistol Regards John Edited October 24, 2014 by terrierman
Topdog
Selling without a cert is not a problem legally as long as the proof marks are visible but it will devalue the weapons for a lot of folk and reduce your market as well. Resubmitting is an option but that will cost a fee for each weapon submitted and they will also have to be deac'd to current standards. Value is impossible to state without more info on what exactly they are and the condition.

I don't think they will. As long as the proof mark date matches the deact standard, I understand they will issue a cert on that basis.
