Manylandrovers
Hi all, does any know where I can find a champ wiring diagram? also, I have a champ generator, no1 mk2 I think, single speed? Would this be 24 volt or 12 volt, and could a landrover voltage regulator be used to regulate it does anyone know? thanks Andrew

paulbrook
I seem to remember that all the wires are black but have tiny aluminium numbered tags on them which either corrode or fall off... Or have I been out in the sun too long?

paulbrook
Yep Too much sun! Wally is of course correct... I am confusing my champs with my M38s.
antar
Yep Too much sun! Wally is of course correct... I am confusing my champs with my M38s. Most post ww2 US vehicles have black wire with number stamped aluminum crimped tag on them. Champ and other postwar british had yellow (and some blue) colour wire with plastic identity sleeves shrunk over with words like EARTH and AUX on them.
