agmerlin
Hello Everyone, in the process of swotting up on the technical stuff for the work I need to do on the 3HW I have found several references to "Knurled Washers" being fitted to the girder forks. These are said to be "free to rotate" Well, they are so free on mine that they are completely missing! Anyone have dimensions so I can get some made up or can you still get them from somewhere? I'm not entirely sure but I think there are supposed to be 6 fitted, is that right?
Ron
Give Jake a shout. He's supplied them to me before. http://www.jake-robbins-vintage-engineering.co.uk/ If not, let me know and I'll measure mine. Yes 6 required. There are none on the damper spindle. For adjustment, as long as you can swivel at least one washer on each spindle is good enough. Ron
IanOver
I was looking for some of these washers but friend said he would make them for me. Could someone possibly measure theirs? Width and outer diameter ? Many Thanks Ian
Ron
Mine are 15/16" diam and 5/64" (2mm) thick. They just need to be slightly bigger than the links. Ron
