keating520
Hi guys just joined up. Just got myself a 1943 Triumph 3HW. It has been civilianised. Just hoping to get some help to get it running. Not sure yet if I will leave it as is or paint back to army colours. The frame number is TL36648

guy66
Hello and welcome; if you really want to put your bike in to military spec then you will need some of the difficult parts to find. Surely the front forks are not easy to trace but good luck from a fellow 3hw owner. Guy

agmerlin
Welcome to the club! Like you I've recently bought a 3HW and found this site extremely useful to help put it back in Military shape. Although I have to say mine had a bit of a head start when compared to yours. all the best Andy

jenkinov
Welcome to the forum..good looking bike......always keen to see bikes running probably because I have had long fights with bikes that did not want to run well....so would always recommend running and enjoying a bike...you can return to I yt? S military spec at your own pace as parts become available ...rather than risk stripping back a runner and then having issues with parts and struggling .. I have found this forum a great help in my restoration of a triumph 3sw and hope you find it as useful Could I suggest registering your bike at triumphwd.nl Jenkinov
