Guy Hi Guy, That battery box is the seldom seen larger version that was used on the Airborne REME Electrical Repair trailers. I looked for one for a year before tracking it down in UK. You can see where it was used at: http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?27455-British-WWII-REME-Lightweight-Electrical-Repair-Trailer-Restoration-Project/page14 Post #

Richard Farrant
Zoom in on the first photo, it is Outboad Marine and Manufacturing, Canada. I do not think the BSA units were made until the 1950's.
Tony B
Certain bits of the Chorhorse and the BSA set will interchange. Mine is a Chorhorse but the plate with points and condenser was taken of a BSA and bolted on to the Chorehorse engine, and yes it does work! Starfire
Mine is different to the other ones that have been posted; I guess it's because it's the BSA version. I've been told that it works, but haven't messed around with it yet. Now that I've downloaded the manual, I might give it a go on the weekend.
