Jack
Yes, I should of been in the office, yes, the kiddies should of been in school  ......but how often do you get to see a ship wreck, this was history in the making and we wanted the kids to be part of it. ......yes we did bump into someone else from HMVF! Stay tuned for pictures. Were we one of the 'scavengers' taking from stricken container ship MSC Napolil? Now that would be telling ;-)
FV601 (R.I.P.)
Last I heard, it was you lot with your lanterns drawing those poor unsuspecting seamen to their fate on the rocks. Nothing like a bit of salvage every now and again :-o
Jack
A wonderful experience, and despite what you read, hear and see in the media, this was a great day. It was nothing and I mean nothing like it is reported in the media! There were no police arresting anyone, there where no roads blocked off, it was free access all round - the media really do know how to screw it up for everyone. I will go into it more tomorrow but here are some pictures to be going on with. Jack. HMVFs roving reporter. Not to sure if this sign was put there for a joke or not :dunno: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b107/richmorris/AAsign-1.jpg[/img] . whistlinwolf
Did you take it home Bodge? Well done Jack, that is something your kids will remember all their lives and well worth taking em out of school for. A few years back a hotel fell in to the sea at Scarborough and we took the children out of school to see it and they have never forgotten it. Memories are priceless
Jack
Just called the Jeremy Vine show, just to put the view point of someone who was there and to say that I am outraged at the way the media and the sheeple have spread such illinformed propaganda. .........lets see if they call back :-D

Enigma
"Sheeple" ????????????? Whats that? A combination of sheep and people? If so, I say a lot humans are sheep....
ian2b
Sheeple is a term of disparagement, a portmanteau created by combining the words "sheep" and "people"; a reference to herd mentality. It is often used to denote persons who acquiesce (bow down) to authority, and thus undermine their own human individuality. The implication of sheeple is that people believe whatever they are told, without processing it to be sure that it is an accurate representation of the real world around them. The term is generally used in a political or religious sense. The Stoner Rock band 18 Speed Tranny has a song entitled "Sheeple" that is about the herd mentality.
