David B. Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) David, you will have to be quicker than that Richard - I initially typed in simply "K5" and was told that the post was not valid because it didn't contain enough characters. I then had to type again and re-enter. Then there is the question of rounding up to whole minutes. and so by my calculation I pipped you by about 30 seconds at least. Could I have an extra point though please for saying 3 Ton GS. Edited August 17, 2012 by David B. Cheating on timing. Quote

simonm Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) This one's more challenging! Budapest, Feb '45. The two SPGs centre back look like Grilles The one marked 153, I think has its back to us. 154 ?? The light tank at the front left (of a Scimitar type shape) has its turret reversed? so we are seeing the rear, possibly a Panzer II ? Also the light tank upper right? (This really depends on how much it was developed during the war as not the same as the very early versions ) Top right a Panzer III Edited August 17, 2012 by simonm comment on PzII Quote
morris c8 fat Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) I think they are Hungarian 40/43 Zrinyi Sorry about the poor picture Oh and theres a Matilda in the back ground Edited August 17, 2012 by morris c8 fat Quote
simonm Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Hungarian! Of course. Just done an image search and the two that look like Pz IIs are "Turans" see: http://ww2total.com/WW2/Weapons/Vehicles/Tanks/Hungary/Turan/41M-Turan-II.htm Quote
ajmac Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 There is a PzIV right at the back without its turret. I presume the Matilda II was captured from the Russians. Quote
Pzkpfw-e Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 You're doing well here! But what's lurking top left? Quote
simonm Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 (edited) You're doing well here! But what's lurking top left? The closest I would venture is a Hummel but with side armour cut back and wheels missing. Or something else based on the PzIV chassis Edited August 17, 2012 by simonm typo Quote
Pzkpfw-e Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Ah, I meant what's lurking behind the Matilda! Quote
