launceston vintage vehicle/steam rally..

Recommended Posts

Bit of a country bumpkin fete really...theres a bit of everything but not nothing to get excited about! Shame you arent down this way in July/August. Theres Powderham Castle and Wadebridge Wheels in early July and Mount Edgecombe the first sunday in August..huge turn out of all types of classics and a good number of military. Bob White always makes an appearence with his Scammell Explorer and Bren Gun Carrier. Ill be there this year with my TM! The following weekend at ME is the MVT's annual show..good turn out for that one with displays and reenactments etc. Therse also Morval Steam and Vintage but not sure when that is. Again, bit of everything. Hope this helps!

Hi

Its not a bad show for this part of the country.

We normally get about 10 to 15 Military vehicles there , from Jeepes to Jimmys and everything in between (including Land Rovers ) we also have an ENSA show Weapons disply and a full working field kitchen.

so come and join us...

"Launceston Steam & Vintage Engine Rally is traditionally held every year over the Spring Bank Holiday. This coming year is no exception, it will be held on Saturday 29th, Sunday 30th & Monday 31st May 2010."

Hmm - time to update the website, perhaps? ;)
