  1. Any turret interior pics would still be much appreciated! Thanks
  2. Hello everyone, I am wondering if anyone has any photos of the CVRT including: Photos of the overall engine bay/frontal area Scimitar interior and turret interior. Many thanks, Charlie.
  3. At the Falklands Victory Parade. Could be something.
  4. Many questions still unanswered, the FOI request I sent did not get anywhere, I might try and request any photos they have of CVRTs in the falklands or on Ascension island during ‘82
  5. We have probably got the 05 FD 72 assumptions correct, off merlin archive it is a scimitar, as is 24C. All we need is solid proof or this FOI request to turn something up. Almost fully solved this 13 years on.
  6. 03FD84 was a scorpion, now sabre. the cards on merlin archive are pretty illegible though https://merlinarchive.uk/vehicle/03FD84 However, there still is a possibility of it being 03FD34 although there is not much info on it. https://merlinarchive.uk/vehicle/03FD34
  7. I will have a little look on merlin archive later about the 03 FD 84 one. 02 FD 92 is mentioned in my new book and IS a Falklands veteran, and also attended the victory parade. Does not specify callsign.
  8. Thank you, just waiting on a response for the FOI, had one just needed to clarify the time frame.
  9. Got the haynes cvrt book for my birthday (today) Further confirms 24 was the scorpion that was mined. And that it was 02FD76
  10. Ive put a FOI request in to see if there are any official records or anything of the VRMs of the CVRTs sent. Even if they dont have anything its worth a try
  11. Some great information there David, its great that everyone here has banded together over many years to collect all this info!! Onto the search of 24A and 24B…
  12. Thats a great table! thanks for that
