Richard Farrant
I went to a Militaria show last Sunday and was given this photo. Can anyone identify the Motorcycles or location? The two machines in the front are Douglas 2 3/4 hp models, not sure of the location ( ie don't know!), but think the rider on the right is smoking a Woodbine

johnwardle
The sidecar outfits behind the empty sidecar are Vickers Matchless, these are 1000cc V twin engined with a 3 speed gearbox, the vickers machine gun can be seen mounted on the front of the sidecar and can be de-mounted and fitted to a tripod carried on the sidecar. there is also a third seat behind the rider, but the passenger has to sit side saddle with his feet in the sidecar as thare is a spare wheel fastened on the right hand side of the motorbike. I have some good 'photos on the only surviving one of these and will try to post them tonight.
