Well, not actually involved in this one....But I lived in Herford for three VERY happy years as an Army Brat! My Dad was Regimental Armourer attached to 7 Signal Regt just up the road about 1.5 Klicks. I Know Herford well & really enjoyed living in that Town/ area. A Nice place to be based. Most of the three sets of Barracks in that area have now closed & been handed back to the Germans. But I belive that the main HQ block & RMP desk there is still opperative.
