    I believe there are a number of other photo's done the same way using military personal in a verity of different images . Yes it is amazing how they orginized the entire process.

    Very clever and nicely done , now in addition to its aircraft taxi duties should anyone following you on the motorway fail to understand its meaning they will have a difficult time in court !

    Please to tell us all how you engineered a solution that left the canvas untouched . might it have involved some frame or support going from the body to the racks them selves ???

    Welcome to the Friendly Forum and thanks for posting the photo's ! . Just because you have a rare beasty you will still be expected to tend to your Club house duties what with all the people tracking all sorts of grease and oil into the place it must be scrubbed daily to keep the H&S people happy lest someone take a slid and fall. Dont to worry with the rate new people are joining you may only need to clean one or two rooms , before your replacement takes over the chore.

    simular to a photo I posted a wile back of a Dodge WC -63 ? with a group of people and a piano . The piano could be used as inspiring the troops as in "Praise to the Lord and pass the Ammunition" Great photo.

    True that might be a sight but if you had driven up to a banks drive up window that way I m sure the response might have been far more dramatic !

    Lots of over looked mantainance items to do , thats for sure !! I m sure the Vehicle will thank you for doing what the previous owner neglected for a Long time . amazing how little the engine smoked while trying to suck air thru such a clogged filter !! Who needs oil injectors to create a smoke screen when you can use compressed air ....Well Done

    Yes Welcome to the Friendly Forum please post photo's of your toys when you can . most of the membership are currently busy building a train track around the club house grounds with a depot next to the Club house .......there was a argument about the depot being outside or inside to reduce to walking distance to verious club house rooms . Visit the bar and make youself comfortable with a drink and someone will be along shortly to explain your duties and such .

    Whats the function of the circular register atop the engine cover ? to draw in air from the cab ? or to send fumes into the cab while parked ? Seriously I would like to know . Whats the shift pattern like on Matadors are all Matadors the same ?

    AHH twister now best played in HVMF coveralls with lots and lots of GO , MO and finely aged greases from all the Forum vehicles along with the hull drainings of the Stollys and Armoured vehicles < thats gear oil and motor oil > liberial powered over all the players to help them slither and slide to reach their marks ........Left foot green , right hand blue let keep it going !!!     Possable he entered the round about too fast and when over steered the heavy trailer < with Bull dozer > with maybe no brakes caused the rig to jackknife and when it hit the center curbing flipped the truck ?

    so the question would be had it been treated before it was purchased or needs to be treated by the cutomer after purchase , I guess the second to be the correct answer.

    Sadly the Scrap man is using his scale equally , the price per ton as is where is , be it a Land Rover or a transport van or a tank . On your side you have the arguement to make about the need to strip the vehicle the useless weights of rubber and fluids that have to be drained and captured , while he speaks value in tons you talk what it really going to cost him . The times may change but the reasoning remains the same .

    I recall seeing a flim clip of a simular system used to transfer a Jeep across and stream or ditch but in its case the cable went around the front rims and all four tires had been removed .

    Before he settles in We will need some help with the drinks dispensor as it been very over looked what with all the new members starting to buy drinks all around its simple fallen apart and will need to be sorted out if we are to avoid total system collapse . So if you dont mind TTM your needed in the basement , promise it only be a short while ........Dont forget your spanners.

    Welcome to the Friendly Forum yes feel free to post whatever photo's you have of your vehicles We all Enjoy see what each has found and owns. Each new member has chores to attend to about the Club house and ground's but it seems the rate of new members signing up , that it may not be possable to tell you your duties before the next person joins .... in which case please go into the club house Saloon and claim your free drink , the next round will be on you !
