  6. Out standing , thought you might have to have the sludge go through a lab to figure out what it once was ! I m impressed that Your friends at Morris Lub. could be so helpful. the Viscosity must make up for the primitive shaft seals of the time "cant leak it it's thick enough" no chance that will drain off the gears if the truck sets a while either .

  8. I m sure you are very happy and releaved to find the gears sitting in oil and not water . Did they use a heavy gear oil back then or was the stuff some odd concotion ?
  9. Keep up the work , most dont think about the thousand's of behind the scenes details that have to be done before the actions in public happen . Keeping my fingers crossed that it will all work out next year opr when the timing is right .
  10. Fits right in , HMV less engine at the moment but I hope to see it moving along some day , provided some one video's the event .

  12. Great Vehicle for the arena at events but would need to be put on a low loader to travel any distance what with it being limited to 18 mph . Nice to see you have saved it and will be very eager to see how it comes along .

  14. Now that you have seen the light I m sure you will treat your Mat. just a little bit better and who knows someday you might feel the urge to restore it to its original design . I agree with your other thread that as it is its a very useful tool to help with other projects . Welcome to the Friendly forum and please park the Mat in the allotted space in the carpark before entering the Club house , with so many vehicles We must start to make things neet and tidy so the new members can be amazed at the military pricise arranged parking , shame we can agree on what order that should be !!

  19. just look how much abrasive you'd save as most all of the paint has already been removed and the rust is just surface so far . Not sure about the new seats .
