The FAT workshop manual is almost identical to the C8 except the FAT has another tap on the autovac when near the concussion of the guns. plus the winch. The wiring on them is as simple as you get.

Biggest problem for Mr 'I love public transport Livingstone, is that most buses DON'T. So at about £180,000 a piece who goes to pay for new ones, or £200 per day at about 3,500 buses . Thats the trouble mate. You as a shooter have to know the law better than the local force. In our area a registered dealer has just done 9 months before the conviction was quashed. In interview the local Plod were asking HIM what the law is :schocked: If it wasn't for the poor bloke being inside it would be a joke. you couldn't make it up. Incidentally Section 5 certificates are issued by the Secretary of State.

Section 5 covers any device that discharges 'Noxious Substances' Hence Smoke dischargers. The other thing it covers is the dart guns and Blowpipes used by Vets to dope animals. Mind you some of that stuff is 1000% lethal to humans. Aslo pepper spray and if used offensivly a hair spray.

AHHHH.. with the best will in the world! To repolarise a dynamo. DON'T connect it to anything!! Fit the dynamo in the cradle. Then BEFORE you wire it up touch the live to F. Military manuals specifically say DON'T use the regulator. :shake: One touch is enough. As far as panel lights etc go, bulbs aren't fussy which way they current goes. Haynes do a good manual on Auto Electrics. Get a decent multi meter, when God made electricity he didn't make it visible.

Listem its JERSEY, we have our own way of doing things Besdies if you see the lanes over there you'd understand why. It can be bad enough with a Land Rover. Jersy Military vehicle club are planning an event next year. worth going.

That one on brake fluid is a new one on me. Not a problem with Dodges, brake assistance is a heavier boot. What type of carb do you have, and are the valves adjusted correctly?

Keep fighting Berni, shows all those hours fixing military vehicles and surviving at shows did have a purpose. Most people now just wait for somone else to fix it. Keep the faith we are all with you.

Neil your best bet is to get hold of copies of Jane's AFVs and Small Arms. You can order through the libary. The Checz have always been bloody good gun designers.

As far as towing with a 7.5 ton vehicle. The catergory for a licence is C1+E. this allows the towing of a trailer over 750kg weight, if it is braked. As the vehicle can tow up to it's unladen weight. So your looking at about 3 ton towed. If you are using a Blazer, you come under the catergory 'Decleared by manufacturer as a vehicle manufactured for towing'. such as Land rover Range rover Unimog etc. A normal vehicle trailer cannot exceed unladen weight of vehicle.

See your crime prevention officer and try to get soem smart weater. fabulous stuff, totally harmless (mores the shame) but dosen't come off for a bout 6 months. Leaves an indelable traceable UV mark. -

Never mind, there is a plan being mooted to do a concert at Tilbury Fort. first discussion is how many bits of music apart from the 1812 can we get cannons into. But the intial idea is to have re-enactors and kit around to show the Fort through the Ages. All thats neded is to give English Heritage a good kicking.
