  1. Hey its what a show should be, good fun. Won't be down a vehicle, :argh: work getting in way, but will be down on Friday and monday lurking with Camera.
  2. Did idly watch a Unimog got through a puddle and thought 'Oh only half way up the wheels'. then procceded to follow in a Land Rover in 2 wheel drive. Fortunatley the patron saint of idiots was on my side that day. :redfaced:
  3. It's the S.P.S. ( Specail Pink Service) Disgused umbrella for inserting explosive into brick walls.
  4. I told you that the hose was a bit worn. For those of you not familiar with the delightful Kent villiage of Otford. There is a steep hill coming into the village at one side, where the duck pond forms a mini roundabout. This has and continues to provide much innocent entertainment to the residents. :captain:
  5. With the height and recoil on a boat bet that was fun. Bofors, good old neutral Sweden, have developed an advanced twin barrel mortar system, that can be vehicle or boat mounted. the claim is it can lay 14 rounds simultaneously on target. Now that's a way to deal with troublesome neighbours.
  6. No, deactivated weapons will still be legal. It is the usual half assed badly drafted badly, if any, thought out legislation. Paint the things blue, all excersise kit seems to be blue. Which leads to the stupid question if you painted a live weapon blue would the great unwashed think think 'Oh, it's a toy because it's blue. right up to the time they were shot?
  7. whats this? Naval mine laying? :schocked:
  8. OY,OY No body mentioned thinking! That's advanced stuff that is
  9. Funny thing, one of the great medical breackthroughs of WW2 was blood tranfusions, developed by a Black doctor. But he was not allowed to donate in case it was given to white soldiers. Me if I was bleeding to death I wouldn't give a ***
  10. Eureka!! the sky hook it WORKS!!
  11. Wasnt something similar fitted to an armoured cab Bedford?
  12. Would a local stationer do it? then possibly copy onto a disc? I'd pay for that and them get the disc printed locally.
  13. Trouble is putting anything else on as a 'smoke discharger' you are going to fall foul of the replica laws. this is really a waste of time as the use of any object' With the Intention' of convincing someone it is a firearm is an offence already!! De ac by proof house is the way as a firearm deactivated is NOT a replica. God help us, haven't the Police got enough to worry about? :banghead:
  14. Forgot to add she's towing the Bar mine layer.
  15. I wouldn't DREAM of running down female drivers or mechanics :schocked: Being a total ****** has nothing to do with sex, race ,creed, colour or social standing. Just that there are a lot of idiots out there. Because we have to drive our vehicles rather than rely on some cheap microchip we notice them. :-o PS love the TE20 , learnt to drive on tractors like this.
  16. WC can have a Zenith carb or a Ball & Ball. Be sure you know which type you have. military media do the manual on disc, well worth getting as it also has a lot of other info. the accelerator pump on B&B can cause problems.
  17. Unfortunatley the only people who can help are DVLA, guess who are a very unhelpful bunch? try talking to AA od RAC they might help. The WC51/52 are technically 2 seaters, which means technically you shouldn't carry people in the back. however thanks to the pre 1964 bit you can get away with it as seat belts aren't needed.
  18. Check the seals on the wiper vacum tube. It can cause all sorts of weird and wonderful problems. http://forum.ww2dodge.com/index.php this is the specialist forum.
  19. You were the weakest link, Buy buy :shake:
  20. A HALF BAKED repair :-D :-D :-D :-D (Sorry folks the pills are in the post) :computerterror:
  21. Not really, Our company decided it would save a few pennies by having the cleanears do the routine level checks. Early one morning a bus was started, the smoke blanked the yard for a good 10 minutes and oil came out like a geyser. When taken into the workshop, half a plastic dustbin of oil was drained out. How so much got in there is still a mystery. when tackled the cleaner in question said he had taken the dip stick out and filled it up to the top of the tube. :dunno:
  22. trouble is the muppets would get close to try and read it. :schocked:
  23. Should have 2 one to armature one to feild. Note carefully as armature will be needed to repolarise.
  24. the Morris Commercial site had a link to WW2 camouflage. I know it or something similar was used on Dodges. though that was the random camo we know today.
  25. Get a thread file and gauge. if you can identify the thread a thread file may well work wonders. Classic parts do an excellent reline job on cylinders and pistons for brakes etc. Stainless steel liners are inserted and modern seals. not expensive and a superb job.
