I use a program called PDFSAM http://www.pdfsam.org/ This allows you to merge, split and rotate PDF files. So should allow you to do most of what you want. It does not merge 2 pages onto one but into one file in page order. I believe you just upload them using "manage attachments" below Mike

Its a Land Rover check the earths The dash lights are on the same circuit as the side lights from the 6 way (red wire). If your side lights work it is either the dash switch, bulbs or earth. I believe the power for the water and oil guages have the same supply as the fuel gauge, (bottom fuse?) Does your fuel gauge work? The Water and oil gauges earth through the sender on the engine (you are electric and not vacuum?) Assuming you are electric it maybe worth checking the earth from the engine. My earth was loose but this meant the gauges read high. Mike

The under water ones seem to be on a loop out and back. So is it a heating vessel to prevent flying boats getting frozen into a lake. Mike

I did my last check about 2 years ago since then it has had a few issues. Which meant it has had a casb rebuild, plugs and a few other adjustments, so is possibly a bit better. Mike

Sorry but I tend to agree with Ray here. Why waste good rope or cheese wire? Kind of agree with this and have never served. I am assuming 5 years in ATC does not count. However I was brought up and taught the following. Respect is something you earn. If you want something you work to either earn it or get the money to buy it. If you cannot afford it wait until you can. Treat others how you expect to be treated. People have opinions, you might not agree with them, bu If t youn are probably both wrong. If you take something you should give something back. If you do something you should not do not expect to avoid the consequences. Depends on the driver. I have seen some aweful drivers , of the older generation, who should know better. What you mean the ones that they make up or are over inflated by the insurance companies paying people to persuade you to make claims for injuries you did not receive. I have at least one a week these days. All because I stopped for a suicidal cyclist on a roundabout and the car behind did not quite. According to them slight discomfort counts even if you do not remember having it. Maybe I am doing something wrong they even record the call and there seems to be no putting them off. Phrase like "the only pain I had was earache and a twinge in the neck from answering the phone to people wanting me to commit fraud" just seem to go straight passed them. I was initially thinking of streetview. Not so much as getting the image you want. After all it might be a different angle and there are probably copyright issues. But it could help identify the location, if a picture is even possible. After all thet nice building might now be a hypermarket aisle 4 to be precise. If you know the location, street, building it is possibly easier to trace a picture or get one taken. Advance warning is always good of course. Mike

Robin That is a good question, it is a type I have seen in a Series before and the previous person removed it from a Series 3 an early FFR as a guess. This would explain the holes cut in the bulkhead plate as these would appear to match the generator/shunt cables for the rear mounted type. I do know however that the fitting is basically the same. May just need to make some larger holes through the tub capping as they fit in the rear behind the bulkhead. The front tilt hoop remains in place. I do know the later type roll bars had a diagonal brace and others were double hoops that replaced the front tilt hoop. The main reason for it is a bit of protection if it should ever end up in a wheels up position. Mike

Blimey a long time no updates. What the heck has been going on you ask. Yes the truck had to go away to a new home in the middle of May. Luckily it was only temporary and it is now back. Why did it go way? Well I live on a hill with steps up to the front door. These were kind of falling down so they needed a rebuild, so the builders had to come in. With the fantastic summer :lol: we have had it took a bit longer than expected. But I do now have a nice set of steps that do not need mountain climbing gear to get up and more importantly there is no wall right against the drive and the truck. There is however a gaping hole in the bank balance. Reduced by doing the filling of lawn and garden reinstatement myself. So what have I been up to between rain storms. Well the replacement drivers wing is almost totally stripped back. The current one has a nasty split around the TUAAM mount. I have also managed to acquire a roli bar. Some Health and Safety can be good. Just need to strip clean paint and fit. Of course those other things have got in the way like decorating the house, gardening and work have all got in the way. Oh yes it is Autumn now need to go get some firewood in, at least I can use the Land Rover for this Mike
