I want to fit later model turn signals front and rear anyway. 4 of the tyres a very good The rear tray edge is a bit ropey. Most likely will cut 50mm off and weld a strip in Is this toolbox recognisable i.e. something MV related or is it scrap? 5. yep I am hanging out for the photos to arrive....... my guys been too busy to send. I heard the Aussies trialled them for the same purpose also, not sure if used for in-service though Been making some inroads on my list of major bits I need 1. - Rear canvas & hoops (being negotiated out of France) 2. - Rear roll bar (found) 3. - Spare wheel mount (RHS) (found in the toolbox under the floor) 5. - Front bumper toolbox (being negotiated out of France) 6. - PSP mounts and PSP (being negotiated out of France) 7. - front lights (haven't managed to translate into French adequately as yet) 8. - external air filter and hose (haven't managed to translate into French adequately as yet) 9. - towing shackles x 4 (being negotiated out of France) 10. - wheel rim x 1 (looking) 11. - LHS fuel tank and guard (found) 12. - RHS fuel tank guard (being negotiated out of France) 13. - tailgate (found) 14. - front jerry can holder (found) and a host of other bits and pieces being negotiated via babelfish, hand signals and pictures :nut: Acmat the manufacturer will not assist in any fashion and are not interested in doing business with enthusiasts (contrary to what their website says about service). So dealing with some contacts provided by members of HMVF in France which is the only way.
6. G'day, welcome and ditto, we love pictures
7. One of the most expensive toys that isn't available anymore was a minigun that was air operated. What's this new craze now where they run around with real looking weapons and shoot each other, it's not paint ball, it's something else but a lot of their gear look legit
8. I have to do a Ural tank and I am thinking of ratchet strapping it to a cement mixer bowel
9. Jack seems to have it all under control now
10. The Acmat arrived in Cambridgeshire yesterday and my mechanic mate was saying on the phone “oooooohhhhhhh that’s big” Looking forward to seeing some pictures as also am getting closer to finding all the missing bits.
11. Teresso 65 appears to be a Esso turbine oil used in this http://www.search-document.com/pdf/1/5/shell-oil-teresso-65.html and a lot of other gadgets
12. It's mine, it's mine :yay::yay: Just waiting for the seller to respond with what he needs
13. getting up to silly money numbers now Time left:8 hours 21 mins 9 secs I did get an air fed mask for a bargain though so has been a good week.
14. Any Acmat's :D If you use microsoft outlook, I highlight the pictures and send to myself Doing that shrinks the photo sizes sufficiently to post in here. A bit longwinded but easier than changing them one at a time with a photo editor
15. will it be ready for war and peace in July?
16. It has a distressed patina, so jobs half done already
17. Anyone know when they will be open again? Apparently moving and setting up a new website
18. Finally got internet :-D Actually I am not sure what they off. Being German I am assuming Condor APC's but I didn't think they had so many, so is a bit of a mystery
19. Some of the usual stuff from over here I did grab a handful of the glass lights. Anyone know what the ones without wingsa are? I am guessing series 1 Land Rover???
20. Cheers, guys......... watching the Ebay clock with another 4 days to go Off to the junkyards here today as a mate needs a Pinzgauer LH rear bumper, hopefully I might find something worthy of a photograph
21. G'day............we got a few of the things you like in here
22. Cheers, you're a star. Most trips, I get a lot of tools from a great boot-sale in Oakington, but given the time restraints of the trip I don't want to risk having to run around and get the usual stuff. I pretty much have to strip the major bits off the Acmat, paint them and bolt it back together in 14 days. Will have to see now if the price goes too high.
23. ahhhh, I always put that the wrong way round ie the shire as the town  The box is in Stockport (Now I have to go Google earth that) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251256498873?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619&autorefresh=true might end up going for silly money as I been watching a few of late. Just not worth me sending all my stuff over for a 2 week trip and in a box I can bolt it to the truck when it gets shipped.
