Would it be possible,I wonder to purchase and deactivated gun and then trick it out working off a compressor? Know anyone (pneumatic engineer or person well versed) who might be up to the challenge?

has anyone heard of one of the deactivated AA guns being turned into a mans toy,like bb gun with gas or pneumatic mechanism,anything like that out there?where it feels like its firing?
