  2. G'Day Robin Planning for a completion prior to War & Peace then ship to Australia after that. That's the plan, it would be nice to get to one W&P :-D. Yep I got your email, will get off my rear-end and reply later tonight. I went driving around the UK most of the weekend
  3. I got to have a sneak meeting with the Acmat to confirm the engine number and see what else has been chucked in the back. Looks like I have a HY injection pump when the GY is preferable.........
  4. I keep meaning on lugging those lenses to the UK but the last few trips I been bring bits for the Acmat In that set these are a few domed ones that are smaller with no wings plus grabbed a heap of map lights I suppose I am supposed to be back next Feb
  5. Yes it is amazing that most countries are upgrading Pinzgauers, the Malaysian Army wrote them off. The maintenance quality is extremely poor, we have seen carved wooden parts and gears that have been filed out of steel. I know of several Supacats in pieces and was even offered one but I have resisted thus far. The only Hagglunds I have seen have been in the museum so I am not sure if any of them are still serviceable either. Every now and again the spares get dumped at auction, that end up in the junkyards. When I get back from the UK I need to go up and see if anything new has appeared as has been a while since my last foraging trip
  6. Also interesting as it looks like the gun had never been de-milled until these guys came along Mind you I know of a museum like that
  7. Well 12th of January spent the day with the 14th Annual Paris Traverse with around a 1000 vintage cars driving around Started off at just before 8 and 1 degrees C. Lots of old stuff, saw some military stuff but most was moving so hard to get pictures

  12. old thread comment.... but I know the answer......its French PSP the part where the hole is full size is for the psp mounts normally one at each end. If short like this example, one end is in a saddle and the other has the psp mount PS I hope the investigation goes well
