  1. I found that the tanks had a engine with 2 seperate cast 2 cylindre blocks. So this might be a bit more modern. From a schneider / kegresse halftrack maybe?
  2. must have been very hot and loud in there....
  3. Peugeot did use kind of vegetal based oil.
  4. Has this bronze? wheel a need for special oil?
  5. Nice job. Did you also check the starter bushing in the gearbox. It's often forgotten.
  6. Wartburg 353 engine, it's of dkw family... don't know if it will fit. https://www.ebay.de/itm/363391354631?hash=item549bd00707:g:gaYAAOSwQ35fAZOr
  7. Here another Buffalo pulled out of the river Maas not far from here. https://worldwar2revisited.com/2016/01/17/buffalo-lvt-memorial/
  8. It's going to be air cooled now 😄
  9. In the Flickr selection there even is a Bantam Jeep.
  10. We have a lot of 707 AWACS planes in the neighbourhood. It's not so much of fun when they are practising here landings and take offs all day long. 😉 There are tankers here too. One crashed a few years ago near the runway.
  11. OK, it was worth a try. Good luck with finding the cause of the problem.
  12. Where is your timing set on? On my 1925 Citroen i ran into the same problems as you mention. It turned out that the timing marks on the flywheel were completly off. Probably someone put on the flywheel of another car. And flooding carbs are not ok too, check your needle valve.
  13. Or like the messerschmid car starting the engine in reverse...😁
  14. The arc shapes on the drawing will be kick plates??
  15. Well done, the neighbours will like the grinder...😁 Had the same problem when getting all paint and lots of filler from my bonnet with louvres...
  16. Strange picture of this citroen halftrack along a Belgian canal towing barges. The picture is from begin '30s but it still has carbide lamps. Maybe the electric gave not enough light along the tow path at night? And it's not a good idea to drop in the canal.
  17. Looks perfect. Isn't it easier to paint a circle with the wheel mounted and turning it around?
  18. A lot of Peugeots had worm drive .
  19. Looks like they put mud in the diff....
  20. Nice lot, good luck with the rebuild.
  21. If it was a truck it must have been a Ford TT. Or a T roadster Pick-up this had a metal bed.
