  1. Well entry sent in,........:)if your starting a list Mark. Me, Bedford MW. See you in July. Andy
  2. OUCH............ Re using motorways,.........whilst I'd rather not use them, in Bedford, if I'm going any distance, (dorset, next year springs to mind,) and a stretch is involved, I'll use it; With fuel the price it is, and the (normally)direct line routing of said roads, I'm willing to take the risk; (will have flashing beacon and 'slow vehicle', signs displayed) At end of day, our vehicles ARE road legal, and as such are allowed to travel these routes. (I'd NOT use these after dark, though......thinking about it, I'd rather not use ANY road after dark, with Bedford.) Hope ALL drivers/rider and passengers are OK. Andy

  9. Having, in the past, been to both T&T (the 1st one)- and Overlord, (for the last four), as a visitor, I enjoy Horndean more; Obvoiusly, the entry is one factor,- although, this year, I knew as an MVT member I could have got into T&T free,.........where as in past I've had free entry into Overlord, I still prefered to spend my time/money at Horndean, and, am looking into taking Bedford to event next year,.......something I've not even remotly thought about doing for T&T. I guess it comes down to, well, for me, anyways, , the feel of the shows, and Horndean feels friendlier.........( and I get to be abused by Rosie, on the gate.............:cool2:) ( only kidding, Rosie..........) Each to their own, I guess. Andy

  22. Well, in the non military list are, Jonathan Livingstone Seagull, and others by Richard Bach; The Pop Larkin Chronicles, by H.E Bates, and The Modern Antiquarian by Julian Cope. On Military titles, certainly Normandy To The Baltic by Monty, The Black Bull by Patrick Delaforce and Taurus Pursuant, history of 11th Armoured Div. are but three I reguarly re-read. Having said the above, book (military)I have read most often has to be Ken Smalls The Forgotten Dead. Andy
