Thats not the first time I have heard of that happening! Lee, do you have the spares etc to fix it? A friend of mine got some transfer boxes from Jacksons so they are about.

AND squirt some Molyslip in the box just in case your levels get low :D

The first show of the season usually finds me under the motor checking all levels and topping up/changing oils where neccesary.

This year its the above, plus a paint brush and a saucepan of Waxoyl for the chassis....

Might get messy seeing as the first show is at a pub!

Update on the Saladin, it's Fixed :):):)

Photos of the old & new fork below, you can see just how damage was caused to the fork through lack of oil

Lee and John,

Glad to hear you have fixed the transfer box. My diagnosis was pretty good, eh?

Have you had the opportunity to drive it around yet?

Good advise as always Richard, you were spot on, John took the Saladin for a spin around the farm today for a test drive & all seems fine, taking it out on the road tomorrow..

Many Thanks..

Richard

Thanks for the tip and all the advice. Saved taking the entire unit out which would have held me up for most of the show season.

The Old girl is selecting better than ever and seems all Ok on the test run today. Tomorrow will be a 20 mile run to check it again and all should be hunky dory.

Owe you a drink mate, I'll make good on that at Beltring
