Enigma
Dukeman, 506 PIR E-coy Dies in the early morning of his wounds sustained at the crossraods, Netherlands. Today I went with 4 others to lay flowers at the monument. A few guys had organised a remembrance/ re-enactment weekend, I attended as a re-enacter.. Unfortunately the bad weather today prevented a paradrop and forced us to pack our stuff early.

Enigma
The event started out as a remembrance ceremony at a 101 monument more east of the crossroads and was augmented by a re-enactment event. The main remembrance event was on saturday with good weather. Sunday, the weather was awful and we packed up our things, paradrop cancelled. However 1 of the organisers wanted to remember the day Dukeman died and asked if anybody wanted to join him so 4 including me went along. The flowers were taken (with permission) from the church garden. Basically a ad hoc ceremony. Edited October 6, 2008 by Enigma
