Shakey985
It looks good and at that price for a years entry its very good wish we had a building like that for our collection. We have got the Spanner club (RAEME) to restore our other Wrecker, they are always helpful. Edited October 5, 2008 by Marmite!! Richard Farrant
Hi Metroman, Great photos : The thread title is misleading, this is the RE Museum (Royal Engineers) you visited. The REME Museum is at Arborfield in Berkshire (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) Edited October 5, 2008 by Marmite!! antarmike
I must admit I am a bit disappointed by the museum. (well the library side of the enterprise) I contacted them because RLC museum deepcut said they (Chatham) held the record card for my Eager Beaver. I have been waiting three months for their response, (all I have had so far is a "we are very busy, it will take us some time to carry out a search, we will let you know in due time what we have found"...) I don't know whether the Eager Beaver is "Historic Vehicle" until they get back to me so I can't road register it yet, which is all highly helpful!!
