Thats what happens if you try and brake a track layer while going down an embankment. I met an old Bren gun carrier driver once and he said that when they were learning they were taken to a quarry and told to drive down what appeared to be a vertical embankment. He said it is fine as long as you dont touch the brake - if you do, well something like that happens.
