No Signals
What do you make of the 'body' arrangement on the back of this? Is it a correct configuration? If so what is the technical description? (other than bitza :-))
Richard Farrant
What do you make of the 'body' arrangement on the back of this? Is it a correct configuration? If so what is the technical description? (other than bitza :-)) That is a QLB, the LAA Bofors gun tractor, bodywork is correct with crew cab at front. there is a breakdown crane in the back (Harvey Frost or similar). There is a debate over this, as REME apparatly converted some QLB tractors for light recovery. I am sure this is the one that was owned by the late Eric Bell of IMPS magazine fame. It may have been a post-service alteration by a garage of course. These tractors also had a mid mounted chassis winch. Richard
No Signals
Thanks for that, I pretty much was sure you'd know the config.. Now just need to track down some storage as it looks a not bad beast at all from the pic. Maybe sell the house and just buy a large shed :-)

No Signals
Why not just take a external wall down save paying estate fees etc Bloody good thinking there. Better still, take the nasty neighbours wall down and park it in their front room :-D
