Richard Farrant
Someone who seems to have watched the film more than once has posted on this site :- http://www.imcdb.org/movie.php?id=75784 ...Just don't go searching for other films and vehicles unless you've got lots of time to spare ! The German tracked vehicle, looking like a SP gun, that comes over the Bridge in the film, was built on a Hotchkiss tracked load carrier, and is owned by a guy quite near to where I work. Joris
In one of the recent After The Battle magazines there is an article by one of the consultants for Der Untergang and he explains the hows and whys in uniforms and vehicles in films. Very interesting read!
AlienFTM
Yes I think the story goes that it was 7 takes! ISTR it was 14 and Sir John Mills reckoned it was the best day's work he ever did.
