HumberMk4
Looking for the glass prisims to fill my spares box in the turret of my Humber Armoured car. Anyone with some bad periscopes in parts able to sell me some glass? Can be mailed to a UK address instead of here in the USA. Lauren Child
I wonder if one of the mods could copy the pictures from Lance's old thread onto this one for completeness? -- Armour Bits and Bobs http://hmvf.co.uk/forumvb/showthread.php?t=40107
Bob Grundy
This scope thread is vey interesting, thanks Rick. This a postwar scope (part), what is it ? I have two if they are of use to someone.
Adrian Barrell
That's an episcope upper element Bob, probably a No.8 but possibly a No.6.
Old Git
Another Cracking thread chaps and hugely informative, love the diagrams they explain a lot! quite an interesting subject and as usual for british engineering, overly complicated and confusing[/Quote] The original design was actually Polish. Have a look at the Wiki entry for the original designer.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudolf_Gundlach

Montieth
Looking for the glass prisims to fill my spares box in the turret of my Humber Armoured car. Anyone with some bad periscopes in parts able to sell me some glass? Can be mailed to a UK address instead of here in the USA. CHeers More specifically, are the parts from the soviet copies compatible with the WWII era periscopes? If so, where are those available? I found one site but it was all in Russian and could never get any responses out of email inquiries.
eddy8men
i had 5 from this company on allegro, unfortunately they came without the armoured shroud and i eventually got a refund so it would be a good idea to make sure they will supply the shroud as well. http://allegro.pl/peryskop-odwracalny-mk-4-do-czolgu-t-34-t-72-nowy-i5981103322.html the scopes fit perfectly into british vehicles
