  1. Looking for the glass prisims to fill my spares box in the turret of my Humber Armoured car. Anyone with some bad periscopes in parts able to sell me some glass? Can be mailed to a UK address instead of here in the USA. CHeers
  2. For my Humber Mk4. At one time the RJB was taken out (probably by the Portugese) and the spent shell boxes left inside. Clive Hughes says he will try to fit an RJB from a Daimler A/C, but I am seeking the real thing. (Clive is doing the major hull and mchanicals/motor and driveline restorations) Can anyone shed any light on a source for a Humber RJB? Anyone know just how close a DAC RJB would be to fit? Anything postwar that would be a close substitute? Cheers, Jim Burrill 15th (Scottish) Reconnaissance Regt Living History Association
  3. Hi folks, A new club member of our 15th Recce group in the USA has his eyes on an International HT that is an ex-salvage yard workhorse. Has a mucking big crane ont he back and no armour. However, it has 80% tracks, a running motor and transmission and cheap! Less than a thousand pounds. Basically, it has no body except the firewall. Over here, the White H/t is common and complete repro hulls are readily available. I personally know little of Halftracks being a devout Humber man. I do know most of the Internationals went to UK forces, not US. So, most of the wrecks and spares are probably in the UK and Europe. Can anyone from the list point me to vendors that carry International HT parts? I know my new guy is going to need a pair of wings (fendors) My email is renactr2@aol.com. 4. Hi all, New to the list. I recently recovered the cut up hull of a Humber Mk1 Ironsides from a salvage yard in Ontario, Canada. I brought it home to Pennsylvania. I have been aided by the great folks at the Tank museum for copies of their existing LRC manuals but nothing for the Mk1. I have had some luck on Ebay for Humber 4x2 service manuals, but aside from driveline info, the best thing has been the wiring diagram! I am looking for any information on the interior layout - pics, drawings, or text descriptions. I am also looking for a Humber Snipe or Supersnipe rolling chassis. Also need the engine and driveline. Not necessarily on same vehicle. I will be shiping a container to the US later this Summer (late August) Any leads on manuals, pictures, or what have you, would be greatly appreciated. Now, If I can figure how to link an image... Drat! Can't find how... Anyway, Contact Jim Burrill 1926 Allentown Rd. Hatfield, PA. 19440
