Escorsche Posted June 18, 2015 Share Posted June 18, 2015 Dear all we are holding an event at little Gransden airfield cambs/beds border, it's a large model scale Warbird event along with some unusual full size aircraft, the whole event is based on a ww2 feel and we are looking for a limited amount of military vehicles of the period, a great weekend with a difference, evening bar in period dress. CMP-Phil Posted June 23, 2015 Share Posted June 23, 2015 Hi Chris As you used the phrase " We are holding an event" that you are one of the organizers, and I wish to pay your group a compliment for offering free admission to people bring MVs to be part of the ground display, really good move as it spreads the word of your event and broadens the base of support for the event. Plus providing some interesting ground display for the general public. This practice of free admission for MVs at WarBird Meets was common practice here in the states, a practice that now seems to be dying out.
