I can't say I have ever seen anything like it before even at war and peace show so hats of to the WW1 guys for such a fantastic display. Posted May 21, 2007 Share Posted May 21, 2007 Ok I've finally woke up a bit :sleep: a tiring few weeks getting everything ready & a bit of a hectic weekend but well worth it, must admit I was panicking a wee bit about Wednesday last week after two days of rain & the entrance into the main field & arena were just mud pits & we were told that the site owners were going to leave it until Friday night to see what the weather was like before deciding what they were going to do with them.. I think the tiredness finally got to me & I'm sorry to say I kicked off a bit but it seemed to have the desired effect & the entrances were sorted next morning.. in the end we had the perfect weather :-D I think the show is going to grow quite rapidly in the next few years & I know there will be problems on the way but nothing we can't sort out, as already have been said we need feedback from you guys, both poss & neg, also any suggestion you may have... & yes nearer toilets is number one on the list.. :whistle: As JT said we have a couple of things in the pipeline which I suspect will be of interest to quite a few on here.. the reenactors have already booked their trenches for next year & we have already been approached by another two groups who want to attend & have trenches of their own...
