ploughman
Bought a new Needle Scaler a few months back. Worked ok until about a fortnight back when a number of needles started breaking. About 8 out of 19. Thought time for a change as they were getting worn. Changed all the needles for the new spare set that we bought with the Scaler originally. Worked for about 1 - 2 hours on friday morning and then all stopped. Air flowing ok when using the trigger but no action. Stripped it down and found the piston inside had sheared into 5 - 6 pieces. Any ideas as to why? Have we done something wrong? ERP scaler.

0 sharky
There is a piece inside that breaks if you strip it down completely you will find it. It is a common breakdown with most type of needle gun you should be able to order the part on its own we used to. 0 ChasSomT.
Lube? Have you oiled it before use every time? Pneumatic kit appreciates a bit of oil regularly 'Chas.'
0 Lauren Child
You can get inline oilers which can help.
0 ploughman
The piece that sheared into pieces was a machined piece of tool steel in a roughly top hat shape.
