Caddy Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 I saw a how to in another thread, but cannot for the life of me remember how. Any help would be much appreciated. Quote
fv1609 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Unscrew that inner collar anti-clockwise. Quote
Rover8FFR Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Clive Didn't you cover off this type of thing in your excellent article All Charged Up! Cheers Quote
Caddy Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 Thank you Clive, I knew I saw it somewhere. Have tried to unscrew it, but it ain't 'alf tight! Quote
fv1609 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 This is the official way to do it. In lieu of the body holder you could loosely connect to its mating socket then the key ways will take some of the support. I think it is ACW but try CW as well the EMER doesn't say. Quote
Caddy Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 Cheers for that, actually can't use the socket as it was just dangling in the drivers compartment in our Cent AVRE. It is apparently FV167319/1 another number underneath that one 819319/1 RWC. It's connected into the Fighting Compartment Junction Box CB1A and CB1B. I have no idea what it's for...... Quote
Caddy Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 Does COOLANT LTB1 mean anything? Found it on a heat shrink label on the loom. Quote
fv1609 Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 Sorry no idea 819319/1 is the Prestolite number for FV167319/1 that corresponds to Wiring Harness 2590-99-805-7142 2590 corresponds to miscellaneous vehicle components Quote
andym Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 That adjustable spanner is interesting, I'd assumed there was a pukka C-spanner. Might "LTB1" be Link Terminal Box 1? And it's possibly for the water temperature gauge? I don't have experience of Centurion electrics so that's just a guess. Andy Quote
Caddy Posted February 18, 2014 Author Posted February 18, 2014 It is a little confusing, on the whole all connections are all bullet than plug. Saying that this one did serve in the first gulf war so there may have been additional mods..... Quote
