ww2rupert
Hello A friend of mine who works at a military establishment in this country, has just told me that several Tiger tank wheels ended up in the scrap bin where he works! Luckily the mistake was noticed and they retrieved them, not lucky for my mate who was going to have them:cry: But the reason for this post is i wonder how much WW2 stuff is still being discarded at military camps by people who dont know or just dont care!? Chris Hall
Happens all the time and not because people don't know, people don't care! I've rescued quite a bit of stuff in the past, 1940s Carlisle dressings are one that springs to mind.
Adrian Barrell
Does your friend have any pictures of these wheels?
ww2rupert
Does your friend have any pictures of these wheels? No he didnt take any pics as it all happened so fast, but definetly Tiger tank wheels as the establishment know what they are, heads would have rolled!
