jerichoe1961
Hi everyone, I live in Oxfordshire and have recently bought a Fordson Wot2 which I am looking forward to taking to shows. I have a problem in so far as I have broken a half shaft and hence I am urgently seeking a replacement. If anyone has any ideas where I might find one I would really appreciate your help. If no one can tell me where to find one does anybody have any ideas who might make one and how much it is likely to cost. Thanks

Lauren Child
Welcome along Half shaft part number is 61-4235. The diagrams are almost identical for the WOT2 and 7V rear axle/diff though, so if you come by a 7V one it might be worth a look to see if it's similar. Best bet is probably to join and get in touch with the early ford v8 club --> http://www.earlyfordv8.co.uk/

river6
Hello and Welcome! Talk to some of the 'lads' in North Oxfordshire and Cotswold MVT (Oxcot). There are a couple of WOT2's under restoration by group members. Bill:-D
jerichoe1961
Thanks all, I appreciate the advice. Still looking for that half shaft :nut:
woa2
Welcome along Half shaft part number is 61-4235. [/url] This is a civilian part number and not specific to a WOT2. Ford used a lot of ready-to-use parts in wartime. Try Belcher engineering or o'neils parts. They may be able to help.

jerichoe1961
Thanks to all those that have pointed me in the right direction. I managed to source a replacement halfshaft and with all the advice have successfully managed to remove all the bits of the broken one. I still would like a spare if anybody knows of one, just in case!!!!
