Myrtle Posted March 30, 2012 Share Posted March 30, 2012 Hi all, I like to introduce myself. Living in Oosterbeek, inside the perimeter of the former battlefield Battle of Arnhem. My house has still scars (bullet holes, etc.) of the battle. Interested in all kind of Airborne vehicles, books and battle relics. I own a Willys 1943 1th. Airborne Mod. and original 10CWT lighweight Airborne trailer. Every year a few of the remaining vets come over to Oosterbeek. Sometimes I'll take them for a ride trough the LZ en DZ and of course, to the bridge. So if you ever come over for the rememberance in september, don't hesitate to contact me. Welcome I have visited Oosterbeck on the Help4Heroes Rally for the last 2 years and will be there again in June this year. lovely Place we stay at a camp site next to one of the LZ's.
