Snapper
I think this is a Dodge? I may have to be corrected, (they all look the same the yank stuff!), pictured with HMVF staff on board bound for the local ale establishment for their Christmas party. Jelly...ice cream...the lot... I've already fallen off....pished again...

Tony B
I forgot this one... This one must have been taken in Normandy in 1943 I guess. Marty Marty :nono: Normandy 1944! actually got similar picture of mine in 2004 :-D that radio set up intrersts me. Anyone know which set it is?
abn deuce
What ever the radio is its barely portable ! ye gads it fill's the back of the Dodge and I bet its range wasn't in proportion to it's size ? I d also bet that neither the drive or passenger liked that antenna mount given the spare is mounted in the drivers way that both had to enter and exit past that sharp corner! Tony B
I know what you mean Abn. I fit a British, well Canadian made with English and Russian markings, WS19 set to mine. When using a 94 foot wire ariel and amplifier the threoretical range was in the 100 mile area.

Tony B
Marty that is the M55 gun carraige. They were based on WC running gear. Very rare beasts now as most were stripped of the gun a 37mm and put back to GS use.
