question Canvas life span

Well thought it was time to ask another daft question...well a few really:undecided: I have been tormented by the sight of a CCKW 353 stored out in the open very close to where I live (Thorne actually) just wondered how long the canvas would hold up, being left out over this past winter etc also what does 'banjo axle' mean ? seen it referred to many times but can't find the definition. I know I really want to get a Reo but....:red:

I've used Nikwax products for years. Including the Wax cotton proofer. It is a water based product, easier to apply than the solid stuff. Always found it very effective. Especially if the wax cotton garment has got dry over the yers.

Have you been at them funny mushrooms again? Nixwax did have a remarkable opening advert when they stated. A ninteen stone man floating in a Nikwak proofed sleeping bag on top of a seven foot deep pond.
