I was trying to dig out an old tree stump from the garden, which had been there for a few years and Val wanted to plant more stuff there.

After a couple of hours digging and chopping roots I thought it was going to move - NO CHANCE.

Amswer, put a strop round the stump and throw a rope over the hedge into next doors garden where there is vehicle access.

Tie rope to the front of the Ferret and select reverse.

Go back for a stronger piece of strop and try again.

Shows the damage to the front towing eye where it pulled the weld apart.

Whats the easiest way to fix this? Bend it and weld it or put a new peice on?

If brains were dinamite he wouldnt have enough to blow his hat off.

Alan.

Hope not, he might have tried explosive on the tree. A similar thing happned to me some many years ago. The owner of a brand new Land Rover safari didn't like a kid of about thirteen asking if he thought the rope was to short. A two hundred year old Oak tree does have some weight in it. :cool2:
