Only think Icould think of is that being a lightweight vehicle they anticipated the use of lots of snatch blocks etc to increase pulling power therefore useful to have lots of extra cable.. Richard Farrant Posted March 3, 2010 Share Posted March 3, 2010 From memory when I used to test and calibrate the winches, it has a cut out of 3.5 tonnes on a straight line pull, but is designed for a maximum of 12 tonnes using 4:1 layout.
